GloTubes Review: A Budget-Friendly Win for Mobile DJs

 As a mobile DJ, I’m always looking for affordable, dynamic lighting solutions that add energy to my setup without breaking the bank. GloTubes have been a great addition, bringing vibrant light patterns and an energetic feel to my gigs. They’re lightweight, easy to transport, and instantly elevate the visual atmosphere.

One thing to keep in mind is battery life. If you’re running a long gig, the built-in battery might not last the entire time. However, this is an easy fix—I just keep a portable battery pack plugged in, and they stay powered all night without issue.

I highly recommend getting the magnet mounts. They open up so many creative placement options, whether you want to attach them to your DJ booth, mount them on tower speakers, or set them up for a unique stage look. It makes setup a breeze and adds versatility to your lighting design.

Overall, GloTubes are a solid, budget-friendly option, especially when paired with uplights or washes. They’re not the most high-end fixtures out there, but for the price, they add a great visual impact and plenty of flexibility for mobile DJs looking to enhance their light show. 

9/10 - Excellent value, but get external batteries to make them last all night!
